Work out & remain healthy:
The following links from the Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA site will help everyone, those who want to work out (walk, run, swim, yoga, etc.) & those who already do.
If you think work is a problem, maybe you could convert from being a "work-a-holic" to a "workout-a-holic". They sound similar, but the latter will keep keep you fit as you grow older, will cost you less in medical bills (the body seems to age faster than the mind!), and will even help reduce your life insurance premiums (in case you buy your own insurance). Working out may enable you to eat things you shouldn't and then burn away the extra calories in order to manage your weight & energy. Remember overweight people are prone to Type II Diabetes (a completely preventable disease).
Its important to have an aerobic workout, as opposed to an anerobic one. So, find out your target heart rate, to know how hard you should work your heart. Other relevant links include Why should I exercise?, How to Choose Running Shoes & Staying Motivated.
Oh, and please give up the smoking!!!

Comments:
